Location and Date to be Announced

Miss Competition and Eligibility

Contestants will compete in On-Stage Interview, Evening Gown, Swim/Fitness.  Delegates between the ages of 17 - 26 are eligible to compete for Miss NC U.S. International and Miss NC U.S. Supranational.  Winner MUST be between the ages of 18 - 26 as of November 1st of competition year.

Miss/Teen Judging Criteria

20% Interview

Miss NC U.S. International™ and Miss NC U.S. Supranational™ Beauty Pageant titleholders must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise, and must possess excellent public speaking skills.  A "round robin" interview will be conducted the day of the pageant, lasting three minutes.  An on stage question will occur on stage during the pageant competition with questions administered by the judging panel. Questions can be taken from the delegate’s bio sheet and also questions the judges may have about current relevant events.  Interview outfit should represent the delegate’s sense of fashion style; dresses, dress slacks, skirts, suits. Think high-fashion runway! ABSOLUTELY NO JEANS!  Shoes should be contestant’s choice of style and reflect the delegate’s sense of fashion.  Judging criteria: personality, speaking skills, and fashion sense. Do not think of this as an “interview”, but more as a conversation with the judges as they are simply getting to know the delegates.

40% Swimsuit

Miss NC U.S. International™ and Miss NC U.S. Supranational™ Beauty Pageant titleholders should be physically fit, with good muscle tone and body proportion. Miss NC U.S. International™ and Miss NC U.S. Supranational™ Beauty Pageant titleholders must carry themselves with confidence and grace.  Shoes are the style and color of delegate’s choice.  Two piece or One piece Swimsuit. Sarong is optional and is delegate’s choice.  Judging criteria: fitness, modeling, personality, beauty, and fashion sense.

40% Evening Gown

Miss NC U.S. International™ and Miss NC U.S. International™ Beauty Pageant titleholders must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise and elegance. Judges are not evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well the gown suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, and style) as well as the delegate’s on-stage presentation.  Evening gown style of delegate’s choice.  Judging criteria: modeling, personality, beauty, and fashion sense.
